They came unnoticed with the water, mud and plants collected from a few streams and ponds. That was last winter. The three types of snails, all collected locally and the introduced ghost shrimp and fish, ignore the bryozoans. I’m happy to have them. I must be doing things right to keep them thriving.

How about snails, shrimp etc, do they eat them?
